Day One Seattle

First we took a monorail to the Seattle Center where we toured the Space Needle, The Chihuly Gardens and Exhibit, the EMP, and the Pacific Science Center.

View from the Space Needle! Even though the day was overcast (it rains nine months of the year here!) the view was glorious.

The Chihuly Outdoor Gardens and Special Exhibit.

 

 

 

The EMP (Electronic Music Project) where we learned all about the Seattle Music Scene from Hendrix to Nirvana.

 

 

 

 

and then on to the Pacific Science Center where we toured the Butterfly World and the King Tut exhibit.
