Day Four -Cruise Day Two (At Sea)

Today we were at sea -traveling very quickly but fairly smoothly up the coast of Canada. We played card games, Bingo, toured the ship, and decided not to go into the jacuzzi no matter how tempting as it was starting to get really cold (although there were some hardy souls even swimming!). We found cozy spots to curl up and read and they have a wonderful naturalist on board who lectured about the gold rush in one session and about bears (polar, brown and black) in the afternoon. we love our servers Ansel and Desmos whom we see at breakfast and dinner. Of course, the food is never ending! Tonight we dined in Tritons, but first we saw another great Disney show, The Golden Mickeys The entertainment is wonderful-in true typical Disney fashion. Tonight was formal dress with a Captain's reception. We were blown away by how many women were in gowns--far dressier than our holiday Disney cruise! We posed for pictures-even with the Captain Fabio who is fabulous) and had a really wonderful evening.

 

Yesterday we had a legit formal dinner. Everyone was dressed up as if it were a black tie event or a red carpet! (auntie Sue Sue would have loved seeing all the beautiful dresses!) Me and Mom went to bingo with dollar Deano! ( Get some Greeno with Dollar Deano, That's the phrase that pays! ) We lost both times which was really depressing... Because just the first round of bingo included a cash praise of over 400 dollars. Deano and his crew were funny whenever it was B9 they would say "nine, nine, nine." like in Nemo whenever the seagulls saw food! And B1 was the smallest number so they would bring up a babies laugh. Whenever it was B11, that was the captains fav number so they would do the sprinkler dance (the original, the broken down, the new, and the hip sprinkler version). Bingo was great both times and each round was soooo close. Errrgg. I went to the animation palate with mom and we drew Mickey Mouse! ( <--- a pretty bad drawing, but hey, still fun!) Avery was sleeping the whoooolllleee time. :) -Brady

 

After waking up with a extremely stuffy nose, I decided it would be best to sleep in (after breakfast). Apparently Brady and mom had a blast without me :-( . I was satisfied to find out that this cruise is overflowing with cute boys( "hey big boy"). So after mom and Brady patronizing me about sleeping in, I decided to go to the second round of BINGO. There was this weird guy named dollar Deano whose "phrase that pays" was "get some Greeno with dollar Deano." We lost...no surprise. It was The Golden Mickey's night,which is also formal night. I was dressed in my bodycon skirt and a nice shirt. The show was amazing! I walked out and my jaw dropped. Women of ALL ages were wearing long "red carpet" dresses. So I quickly ran upstairs and changed into my beautiful Lilly Pulitzer dress( thank you Auntie Zuzu). The diner was amazing and I was extremely tired. But mom wanted us to dance! Yurp that's right....mom is a total "wild child." I walked in the dance and ran out! Mom was shimmying out of that place! So we went upstairs to our room and watched for the 4th time, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.-- Avery
